For the last 5 decades, most scientists and technicians have been almost solely focused on providing better, more advanced hardware to the world. But hardware is beginning to falter as Moore’s Law breaks down, and more computer scientists are turning to artificial intelligence to make up for this. Artificial intelligence is the next big revolution in computing, and while we haven’t truly begun to feel its influence in everyday life, within the next 10 years, it will become a vital part of our society.
